Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons as an offensive tight end in the National Football League. The NFL's most successful tight ends and the third most effective overall receiver, he's been ranked as the NFL's top tight end by the number of receptions, yards he has received, achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End currently works as a FOX Sport Studio analyst. Gonzalez has appeared as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's 1-hour NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL SUNRISE) that airs each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez signed a new contract to the Falcons for two years and $14 million on the 15th of March 2013. The signing was in spite of having stated that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire at the end of 2013 NFL season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was his last as NFL the leading reciever in the NFL.
